Victorian door knobs

Victorian door knobs are a very accessible way to catapult a vintage or reproduction structure from ordinary to extraordinary. All our superlative doorknobs are cast metal, not stamped steel. There are quite a few finishes to choose from depending upon the model. Finishes include oil rubbed bronze, highlighted bronze, antique pewter, brushed nickel, polished brass, and antique brass. Here is how it works. You choose any of the backplate styles which would include beveled, egg and dart, carson, etc. Then you choose the type of door knob you would like. For simplicity, standard pricing includes any of the door knob styles. Some Victorian door knobs are cast metal and other types of Victorian door knobs are clear or tinted glass or porcelain. There are thirty Victorian door knobs and four levers from which to choose in our Victorian door hardware collections..

In addition to Victorian door knobs we also have Victorian door hardware such as hinges including both the ball style hinges and the steeple tip style. Finishes match the door knobs. There are a few different types including those with square corners and ones with rounded or radiused corners. Hinges are typically available in two sizes. We also have Victorian hinges with ball bearings which are great for heavy or oversized doors. These are a wonderful type of hinge to have for a front door. The cost for upgrading to the ball bearing type hinge is relatively minimal there is really no excuse to bypass using them for a front door scenario since it gets an inordinate amount of use in comparison to the remaining doors in the house.
