Eggcrate style cold air return
A cold air return air vent that has versatile craftsman look can be difficult to come by. What a wonderful look of yesteryear eggcrate style vents have!! Reminiscent of going to the grandparent's house and wondering what that thing in the floor was! Well made, just like things of bygone days too! This one is shown in red oak, provided unfinished.
Pricing for square opening style: 72 cents per square inch of duct opening in red oak or paint grade maple. Many other wood options are available for an upcharge. Standard openings are square. If you prefer rectangular openings please call for quote.
Note: There is an approximate one inch lip all the way around. For example, a cold air return designed for a 10 by 10 duct opening would have overall dimensions of about 12 by 12.
In addition to rounded edges for surface mount use, we can also make straight edges for use in between baseboards.
